My Life Today:

Currently I am a full time student at the Medicine Hat College in
the Child and Youth Care Counsellor Program taking my second year. I have work at
Lammles Western Wear part time for 6 years. Now that I am the 2011 Medicine Hat
Stampede Queen, I am getting the chance to participate in many activities throughout
the city, and I am very much enjoying everything.

Family / Personal:

I am the daughter of Cyrl Schock and Marlene Degrace, I also have
my Step dad Gary and my Step mom Melissa. One of my best friends is my little sister
Michaela Schock. There are also my step siblings, Courtney and Dusty. My family has been
my biggest and most positive support system that I could have every asked for.

Horse (or pets, or team):

I have a buckskin mare named Barbie who is my personal horse. I
enjoy showing Barbie in all western pleasure classes and working with cattle with her
also. I also use my sisters horse Spider for many of my rodeo appearances, him and I
have a great connection when it comes to our rodeo activities and we work great together.

Education / Training:

I graduated from Medicine Hat High School in 2009. Now I am in my
second year at the Medicine Hat College. I have my First Aid and CPR Certificate.

Professional Highlights:

My professional highlights would be, receiving my 5 year buckle
from Lammles Western Wear. 

Personal Highlights:

My personal highlights would be graduation from high school and being
eligible to participate on the School Drama trip and go to New York City and present a small
production while there. Going back to college and passing my first year. Also sticking to and
following my dreams and becoming, the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede Queen.

Awards / Titles / Winnings:

I won the 2009 and 2011 Public Speaking award for the Medicine
Hat Stampede Queen contest.

Where does Space end? And what is on the other side when it does end? Hahaha :)

Inspired by:

I am inspired by my Family members and the wonderful things that they have overcome
and the things they have been successful in. In their ups and downs they have also been there to
help me and support me, and always encourage me to do my best.

Looking Forward to:

I am looking forward to all the things I will have the opportunity to
learn and participate in over the year of my Rein as Stampede Queen. I am also looking forward
to graduating from College and beginning my career.
