My Life Today:

I like to keep it busy. Since being crowned Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede Queen in July 2008, life has taken a different route.
I have also just finished my first year of an engineering degree at the Medicine Hat College. Between those two things there has been always something to do or get ready for! Now that summer is here I have my part time job back at a neighbourhood pub in town, and my life during the day is revolved around my equine and canine family!

Member of: The Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede. Box Springs Rodeo Board. Past Chinook Rodeo Member and Foothills Cowboys Member.

Family / Personal:

I have two wonderful parents, Michele a.k.a Meesh and Randal a.k.a Chief Pederzolli. I also have two wonderful grandparents, Aldo and Glenda Pederzolli.
I only have one sibling, a sister, Rachele Pederzolli and her boyfriend Ashton Robertson who is like a brother to me. Brady Mapstone is the one who is crazy enough to date me and the newest addition to our family is my month and half old niece Miss Paisley Blake Robertson, born April 2nd 2009!

Horse (or pets, or team):

I have a herd of five, some argue six. First I have my seventeen year old gray gelding. His name is Joey (Hands Off My Zip) and he was my show horse when I was young. Also my first very own horse so he is quite unique. Next I have a fifteen year old appendix black gelding. His name is Weasel (Gallant Wrangler Joe) and he is my retired barrel horse whom has made me a better person through the experiences I have had with him. Then I have my two ladies! Both eight years old, CiCi (Caps Silver Shadow) and Victoria (JD'S Policy Maker) are my main two mounts. Cici being a buckskin and Victoria being a black, I could not ask for better horsepower for the things I do. Then there is Hector (Already Supersized). He is my six year old bay gelding that is a full brother to Cici (I raised them both) and he is quite the horse! Attitude and passion are two things that describe him, and being that I broke him myself, he also has a special bond with me. Now the next guy I am talking about is the one that is debatable. He is my two year old great dane, Malacai. No matter what he is always happy to see me and definitely a gentle giant! His best friend, and also another one of mine, is the border collie cow dog we call Cue. Cue is three years old and has the heart of a champion!

Education / Training:

I attended Seven Persons School, Eagle Butte High School and graduated out of Medicine Hat High School 2007. I have completed my first year of engineering at the Medicine Hat College.

Professional Highlights:

Being crowned Stampede Queen last year was very exciting to me! I rode for the Calgary Stampede Show riders for a year where I travelled around Alberta and even down to Portland, Oregon doing shows, competitions and parades. I have been a part of the Box Springs Rodeo Board for the last couple years as well, along with Randal.

Personal Highlights:

Working with my horse Weasel for three years. While I was teaching him, he was teaching me as much if not, more. Teaching a bull riding and roping clinic to a 4H club with Kynan Vine. Going to Italy three times and riding Show and Reining horses with my aunt. Riding steers and moving to bulls, trick riding (I'm a rookie) and barrel racing. Showing horses for a few years when I was young. Playing basketball and being captain of the Senior Kwahommies Team in my graduating year, playing volleyball, soccer and baseball throughout my life. I also did some training for boxing at the Medicine Hat Boxing Club.

Awards / Titles / Winnings:

Miss Medicine Hat 2008, Hi Point Champion Barrel Racer 2006 at the Diamond T Winter Series, Chinook Finalist for Steer Riding 2004

Something to Think About:

Are you doing enough right now that in the future you will look back and have no regrets?

Inspired by:

My family has always been behind me and believed in me. Randal has travelled around with me for years, never missing a rodeo and whenever Meesh could calm her nerves enough she would even video me when I was riding junior bulls. It may have been a bit shaky but I appreciated it more than anything! Rachele and Ashton have also been around the block, travelling around with me or sending their wishes over the phone for whatever I am into at the time. A close friend of mine that I have known since I was young but never really met till I was older, is also a huge inspiration to me. Her name is Linda Filanti. Linda has been so supporting no matter what it is that I have gotten myself into, and has taught me more about horses than anyone else I know. She is a gifted and very talented lady, and also one I have had the joy of sharing many memories with! There is also another couple I would like to mention and that is Wayne and Kathy Webber. These two have always been a fan of mine and I'll never forget when both of them would come down to the Diamond T arena and watch me barrel race for three months. I had a horse there I had been working with for a few years that had some issues and they always loved me for the bond I had with him. Another couple names I would like to mention are Brad and Trish Jassman. Another awesome couple! Last but of course not least, I would like to mention my other half, Brady Mapstone. He has only been in my life for the last six months, but it seems like I have been with him for a lot longer.
He is as stubborn as I am which makes me do my best no matter what! I feel very lucky to have him behind me in everything I do.

Looking Forward to:

Miss Rodeo Canada Competition in the fall which I am considering, trick riding and of course SUMMER!
