Q: What do I do if I forgot my password?
A: if you forget your password, select “login” on our main page, when the login window opens, select “password reset”, and then follow the instructions to reset your password.
Q: Can I put more than one item for sale in my ad?
A: Yes, so long as they are in the same category. Please remember that you are limited to 250 characters of print, and 5 digital pictures.
Q: How do I pay for my Ad, Event or Business Listing?
A: Cowboyclassifeds.com uses the online purchasing service known as Paypal. Paypal is an online e-commerce service providing secure credit card and banking transactions for online businesses.
Q: Will I be notified when my ad expires?
A: Yes, you will be notified via e-mail prior to your ad expiring, giving you an opportunity to renew your ad if you so choose.
Q: What do I do if my item sells?
A: Just login in under your user name and password, then select your ad and mark it as sold.
Q: What if I don’t have a credit card to pay for my purchase?
A: Unfortunately due to the immediate nature of placing a paid listing or event, a credit card is required to secure your purchase. If you do not have a credit card, PayPal also accepts debit banking cards or you can have a friend or relative, place your ad on your behalf.
Q: Is my credit card number and information secure, when paying for my ad through Paypal?
A: Yes, your card information is very secure using Paypal, as all transactional information is encrypted. Cowboy Classifieds selected Paypal as it is an easy and widely accepted method of making financial transactions on the worldwide web.
Q: I can’t find the classified category I’m looking for. What can I do?
A: If you click on the main category heading, sub categories will also appear. If you still do not find the category you are looking for, select “contact us” on our main page, and then leave us an e-mail with ‘Add a category’ in your subject line. We make every effort to add suitable new categories to Cowboy Classifieds, as quickly as possible.
Q: What can I do if I made an error in my ad, or wish to update or add information or pictures later?
A: At any time that your ad is active, you can login to your user name and password, select you ad, then choose “edit” and make any necessary changes or additions, including pictures.
Q: Can I stop my ad at any time?
A: Yes, simply login to your user name and password, select your ad then mark sold or cancelled.
Q: If I am having a problem, and can’t resolve it on my own, what can I do?
A: Select “Technical Support” and email us a description of your problem. If you like, you can also provide us with a phone number. Our support team will follow up with a solution to help you.
Q: When I want to place an ad, I must first register, and set up a user name and password. Will this information be given to anyone else?
A: No, this information, is strictly used to maintain your profile for our website. Your name and e-mail address will never be given out, unless you provide it, in the ad you place, and this will only be active during the time your ad runs. For more information, view our Privacy Policy
Q: Where can I find a price list, if I want to place a corporate or billboard ad on Cowboy Classifieds?
A: Billboard advertising rates and prices vary, dependant upon placement, size, length of time, exposures, etc.. If you are interested in purchasing “billboard space” Select “Advertising” in the navigation at the bottom of any page, and submit your inquiry and contact information. A Cowboy Classifieds representative will contact you to discuss the various billboard advertising opportunities.
